The Border Collie holds the #1 title for intelligence and trainability. They have a keen sense of herding instinct, attentiveness and a tremendous amount of drive, which makes them extremely easy to train. They love to work, strive to please and can be taught a huge variety of skills. Most Border Collies are very good with children, but like any dog should be supervised around very small children.
